Capture official notices – deadlines and amounts sourced

Tax assessments, fee notices and letters from authorities arrive by post or as PDFs and end up with your tax or legal department. Excalitract captures authority, file number, date of notice, amounts and the details of payment and objection deadlines according to your schema – every value with its source. Whether an objection makes sense and when a deadline ends is for your team to decide.

Tax and fee notices, hearing letters and other correspondence from authorities – digital or scanned.

Deadlines hide in running text

The payment date and the notice of legal remedies often only appear on the last page. Excalitract pulls the deadline details out as separate fields so that your deadline tool can take them over.

A date that has to be right

A mistyped date of notice shifts every deadline your team derives from it. With the source location, you check every date against the original in seconds.

Nothing is guessed

If a date cannot be read or a detail is missing, the field stays open. As a required field, it blocks approval until someone has resolved it.

Groundwork for tax and legal teams

The notice becomes fields – the assessment stays with you

Excalitract reads what the notice says: authority, file number, date of notice, amounts, payment date and the wording of the deadline. Your deadline tool turns this into dates, and your team decides on objection or payment. Excalitract does not make legal assessments or calculate deadlines – it delivers reviewed data with sources.

Every deadline detail with its source

Payment date and deadline details stay linked to their place in the notice. Whoever enters the deadline in the calendar sees immediately where it comes from.

No date is invented

If a deadline detail is missing or illegible, the field stays open and goes to review. That way, no guessed date ends up in your deadline calendar.
